Jamaica -  Kinetic NRG-The Jouvert Party

HUNDREDS OF 'party animals' were let loose last Friday at the Students' Activity Centre, University of Technology (UTech) as the Faculty of Health and Applied Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Computing together staged Kinetic NRG - the J'ouvert Party. The party got off to an early start, as music courtesy of DJ Slim and others was blazing from the Digicel Musik Truck from as early as 7:30 p.m.

The party was set to end at 11:00 p.m, but the 'NRG' was too great and it was obvious that an abrupt or early end would just spoil a great staging. source: Jamaica Gleaner
