Was it Lyrics or Politics... These are the questions among others being asked as to why season performer Tricky did not make it to the St. Lucia Calypso Finals this year.

Through -out this season Tricky was one of the Artistes most "Kaiso Lovers" deemed as one of those to look out for in the finals.  His performance to our recollection and many others present at the packed National Cultural Center  in Castries for the St. Lucia Calypso Semi-Finals was perfect in both the first and second rounds of the competition.

Yet, the judges favored another season performer Nadiege who entered the first round with a new song which many were confused as to where so was going with it. Not even the popular Lady Spice was in full form on the night compared to her performance through-out the season. But she still made it through.

So why didn't  Tricky make?  Who Knows.. They say the judges decision is final.
